Close to Uluwatu you will find the Ubud monkey forest that is a huge touristic attraction, for all the right reasons. The forest also serves as a research centre, so be sure to get a grip on all tours available to learn more about the culture, environment, and much more. Be careful not to pet the monkeys when they are roaming around or without a professional around, cause they do get aggressive.
