The world’s largest fountain is located in the biggest mall in in Singapore called the Suntec City, according to the book of Guinness World Records.  The fountain is turned off during the day and visitors are allowed to walk into the mini fountain in the center of the fountain and collect coins, which apparently stand for good luck. The Samson fountain is one amongst many fountains in the Peterhof Palace and gardens built on the orders of Peter the Great in 1710. These series are often called “Russian Versailles”. Located in Saint Petersburg in Russia, the Samson Fountain was added to the “Russian Versailles” as they call it in 1730s. It depicts a statue of Samson tearing open the jaw of a lion much to depict Russia’s victory over Sweden in the Great Northern War.
