- Dubai Creek
Another obvious choice in Dubai here. The Creek is a sea line that separates the two main towns of Dubai in Deira which is the north and Bur Dubai which is south. Based on the name of the grandfather to the current ruler, this old home has now been completely revamped into a museum that now represents what many today consider a magnificent piece of Arabian architecture. This beautiful landmark in Jumeirah has even drawn comparisons to Cairo’s Al-Azhar Mosque which is eight times its size. Nevertheless, the Jumeirah Mosque is a fine example of Islamic architecture. It is known to be a wonder to look at in the evening when lit with floodlights. The Heritage Village pays homage to Dubai’s architectural, cultural and maritime heritage. Much like the Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum House, the place was created in order to display the city’s heritage and make aware to the public of the old & traditional life of the UAE. - The Dubai Aquarium
There is no vacation in Dubai without a trip once to The Dubai Mall. One of the city’s top tourist attractions, The Dubai Aquarium houses over 100 species of sea fish all of which are placed in a huge tank on the ground floor of the mall and covers a considerable amount of area. While the mall provides a free viewing around the tank from all over, it also provides an underwater tour through tunnels within the tank.
